Abstract

In this talk I will present the research of the NLP group at PUC-RS. We deal with corpus processing for information extraction for a variety of applications, such as ontology engineering and competitive intelligence. Central to our research is the identification of specific vocabulary and its organization in a variety of structures. From my thesis work, I will also comment on a special word: "the".
